From now on I’ll be uploading some of my own video shots to You Tube so that I can share them in several locations.
A video of me riding from home to Ballancourt-sur-Essonne on Monday. It’s a distance of 2 miles or so, and a journey I make fairly regularly. On this occasion I was going to the Post Office, but upon reaching the centre of Ballancourt I cut the video just next to the railway station. It’s the nearest station to us for taking the train to Paris.
It’s a trip across open countryside – for the most part with no hedges and completely flat. During the Winter it can get very windy, in fact it was a little bit blowy when I took this video – it was also raining from time to time. They call it “le plateau” here locally.
