We left the Essonne yesterday at 4pm arriving here in the Venise du Perigord around 11pm. The trip gave me a chance to test my Kindles 3G coverage. Aside from a blackspot towards Limoges, coverage was quite good. France is a country that has a lot of isolated places so I guess between the 3G GPRS & EDGE, Kindle has it all covered here.
Weather this morning in the Perigord is a bit disappointing compared to the Paris region we left yesterday. Rained overnight and is dull and chilly.
I’m going to have a late morning coffee and chausson au pomme. Kindle reading for the holiday: On the Edge – Charlie Carroll, The real James Herriot – Jim Wight.
