* Ballancourt-sur-Essonne seen from Fontenay-le-Vicomte.
Lovely sunny day today, nice blue skies, but a little chillier than of late. Took Dolly for a walk and decided to try to zoom in and take a pic of the neighbouring village, from our village. Ballancourt is a much bigger place and starting to become a small town.
So on the Nikon A900, it appears the last part of the zoom is numeric, which has resulted in the background being a bit like the paint filter type texture you can get in Photoshop and other photo editing programs (like Gimp for example).
But… I was quite a distance away, so thought I was actually zooming in on the village church…
Once home and on the PC, I could see that this was in actual fact a mobile telephone mast. I was wearing my reading glasses, to look at the camera’s screen… honest.
So the focal point is on the traffic… at least you can read the sign for the local riding stables in our village!
