Yesterday Isa took the kids off to have some passport photos done, as they will both need new ID cards, but also French passports should they want to go to the UK one day. Both COVID and BREXIT have made life very difficult regarding visits “back home”. We are also considering getting them UK passports, which will be an expensive exercise.
Rémy had one done when he was a baby, now long expired
The next task is getting a Carte de Séjour permanente so I can stay in France. I applied over a month and a half ago, which was acknowledged via email. Apparently I have to wait until the prefecture contacts me. 24 years in France and I’m still an immigrant!
