Yesterday evening my daughter had her end of year show. All done separately by year, to cut down on the number of parents present. Her show lasted 15 minutes. It was good to see some normality, even if I was very apprehensive about going.
Everyone was lovely and it was nice to see people who we’ve not seen for months. Even had a mother I fell out with before the pandemic say hello to me. It was a bit awkward.
Perhaps this difficult time has made people like each other even more?
Photo is of the show and us with our neighbours Nadège and James, who live across the bridle path behind our place.
Emma will start college in September. My little girl is growing up!
